When is the last time you really took time for yourself?
If you’re anything like me – you probably can’t remember the last time you’ve done this.
As humans we naturally have the tendency to want to help others. Some of us have more of this tendency – and some of us less. Some of us have the tendency to get sucked into our work and before we know it we’ve put over 60 hours in and the week is over.
No matter what tendencies you may have – you need to make sure to make yourself a priority. After all some self-love never hurt anybody.
If we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves we will never be able to properly take care of others. I repeat – If we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves we will never be able to properly take care of others!
Let’s use this week to kick off our routine of self-love – why? Because you deserve it!
You deserve to take the time to put your feet up – take a walk – get your nails done – read. Whatever makes you feel good is what you need to be doing! It doesn’t have to be elaborate – but it needs to be something.
I challenge YOU to set aside 5 minutes a day – for the remainder of the month (minimum) – to practice self-love. ❤
